Return Policy

Here at BetterDoor.com, we offer you free step-by-step guides, how-to videos, and plenty of other resources because we want to help you have a BetterDoor for your home! Our team is available to help you find the perfect product to fix your door problems. We want to help you find just the right product, so please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you have. Then you can have a BetterDoor even faster! Returns

You may return most new, unopened items within 60 days of delivery. We’ll pay for the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. For items not eligible for Free Returns, a restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Restocking fees are determined by each product’s shipping tier, as outlined below under “Return Pricing.”  Additionally, original shipping fees will not be refunded.

Items returned between 60 and 100 days from the date originally purchased may be returned for a partial refund (typically 75% of the original price minus return shipment fees).

Please note, products must be returned in the original packaging in like-new condition with all parts included. All returned products will be inspected before your refund will be issued.

Incorrect or Damaged Orders

If you received the wrong product in your shipment, or if the shipment was damaged in transit, please send a photo at your earliest convenience to support@betterdoor.com. We will review the photos with our fulfillment team and rectify the situation as quickly as possible.

Return Process

Please note:
  • Returned products are subject to inspection prior to issuing a credit.
  • Some products must be returned in less than 60 days.
  • Custom products cannot be returned to BetterDoor.

Once we receive your form submission, we will send you a return shipping label for you to ship the product back to BetterDoor.

 

Return Pricing

Due to the various weights and sizes of our products, BetterDoor uses a three-tier system to determine shipping prices for return items.

Tier 1

Smaller items, primarily shipped in envelopes.

Return shipping price: $3.00

Tier 2

Medium size items.

Return shipping price: $7.50

Tier 3

Oversized items, typically individually packaged in long tubes or oversized boxes.

Return shipping price: $25.00

Bulk Orders: Any bulk orders returned are subject to a 25% restocking fee, in addition to the return shipment fees. BetterDoor reserves the right to increase or decrease such charge based upon materials considered for returns.

 

Cancellation Policy

We do our best to process your order as quickly as possible, which is generally within 48 hours. If you need to cancel, please reach out to us within 24 hours of placing your order so we can process the cancellation before your order ships. If your order has already been processed and/or shipped, you will need to follow the return policy, as outlined above.

Refusal of Shipment

If a customer refuses a shipment or delivery of an order, the order will still be considered a return and will follow the policy outlined above.
